Here is the first issue of Jill Lamm magazine! In this magazine, we will introduce our activities in detail, which we could not fully explain on our website.
※For more information on this campaign, please see the article below.
In this first issue of the magazine, we would like to introduce what we, Jill Lamm, would like to accomplish through this project. There are three main goals that we would like to achieve through this project.
・Create a system in which profits are returned to the primary creator, even if it is a derivative work.
・Discover Japan's hidden IP and share it with the world through NFT.
・Create an economic zone with the LAMM COIN to revitalize culture and local economies.
In this article, we will outline these three goals, which will be explored in more detail in the next article.
A major problem in the current content industry is that profits are not returned to the primary creator in the case of secondary creation.
Because there is no mechanism to return profits to the primary creator, the primary creator is forced to prohibit or tacitly approve secondary creation, and secondary creators are creating works without permission due to the high cost of obtaining permission.
For example, the economic impact of Comic Market (Comiket), the largest event for secondary creators in Japan, is said to be over 10 billion yen, but a large number of works are sold without permission to the primary creators, and no profit is returned to the primary creators.
